SPOTIFY / RECORDED MUSIC ROYALTY POOL
Spotify asks for streams before a track enters the pool.
Since April 2024, each recording needs at least 1,000 global streams in the previous 12 months to be included in Spotify's recorded-music royalty pool calculation. Spotify also requires a minimum number of unique listeners, but it does not publish that number because doing so could make the system easier to manipulate.
That is a recorded-royalty-pool eligibility rule, not a claim that every other kind of music income works exactly the same way.

YouTube asks for subscribers and qualified watch time.
For ad-revenue access through the YouTube Partner Program, a channel currently needs 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 qualified public watch hours from long-form video in the last 12 months or 10 million qualified public Shorts views in the last 90 days. Hitting the numbers starts a review; it does not automatically guarantee approval.
Shorts Feed watch time does not count toward the 4,000-hour route. Content and channel policies still apply.

Suno adds a rights gate before you monetize.
Suno's current help center says songs made on the free plan are intended for personal, non-commercial use and cannot be monetized. Songs made while subscribed to an eligible paid plan can receive commercial-use rights. Subscribing later does not automatically give a free-plan song a retroactive commercial license.

Download limits are changing.
These are download limits, not a claim that the in-app library disappears. Suno says songs remain playable and shareable in the app, while commercial rights still depend on the plan and the song's creation/download context.
FIYA / ACTIVITY OVER POPULARITY
FIYA asks you to participate, not wait for a number.
FIYA does not impose the same audience and streaming thresholds used by traditional monetization platforms. You do not need 1,000 streams or 1,000 followers before eligible activity can matter on FIYA. There is no paid FIYA membership required simply to participate.
The FIYA difference
Your audience does not have to be huge. It has to be real.
FIYA is built around activity, not popularity. Creators bring the music. Fans bring the attention. Both help create the value.
Creators bring the music.
Upload, test, share, review, and give people a reason to come back.
Fans bring the attention.
Listen, vote, review, share, support creators, and help music move.
FIYAPAY
Platform ad revenue back to eligible active members.
FIYAPay connects available platform ad revenue to eligible members through verified activity. Creators and fans can participate in the value system.
Legitimate activity
Activity must be real, eligible, and verified.
Available revenue
FIYAPay depends on available advertising revenue.
No guaranteed income
Earnings are variable and never guaranteed.
THE TAKEAWAY
Make the song. Bring real people into the moment.
Monetization is not one universal switch. Know the gate you are facing, keep your rights clean, and build the kind of activity that helps music move.
